Hideo Itami, getting a spot in the ‘Andre the Giant’ memorial battle at WM 31 was a late decision as Balor or Neville were scheduled to be in the match. After the battle royal was moved to the Kick-off Pre-show and as there were a lot of Japanese media in the town, the decision was made to use Hideo as a way to tie into Tatsumi Fujinami’s Hall of Fame induction.
