Neymar, who is suspended from next week’s home fixture against Lille, had surprisingly little impact at Stade de la Meinau. But while he endured a quiet time on the field, he showed that it is not just at football that he possesses impressive finishing instincts.

Indeed, he appears to be no slouch at Counter Strike, as he posted a video of himself playing against poker player Andre Akkari.

Meanwhile, he has also featured in a couple of striking images, the first of which appeared in Brazilian Vogue and the latter of which was taken as he played a role in PSG’s midweek win over Troyes, catching him in the midst of a rabona.

He’s not the only one of the PSG squad who has impressed in front of the camera, with Kylian Mbappe perhaps trying to distance himself from the joke that he looks like a turtle by using a rabbit filter.

Meanwhile, Dani Alves has taken to Instagram to promise fans that PSG will bounce back after their first hiccup of the season, with the veteran right-back having stressed the importance of teamwork and unity earlier in the week.

Beside a photo of the club’s 2-1 win over Monaco last weekend, he said: “The most difficult and most important thing in life is to build great works in groups, in teams, and to get the best out of each person for something bigger than our egos - nobody is able to conquer that alone… All the great works were built by groups, by teams - and ours will also be like that!”

PSG go to Bayern on Tuesday in the Champions League and despite their qualification already being assured, they will want to showcase exactly how strong they have become mentally.
