The NFL did not find the tweet amusing. Tetreault says NFL security confronted him, showed him his selfie and tweet and then questioned him. After talking with him, Tetreault said, the security personnel escorted him out of the stadium.
Afterward, Tetreault issued a statement on his Twitter feed, and asked for an apology from NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
By the way, Tetreault’s initial tweet garnered only about 1,700 retweets.
