These worries about the next Battlefield come from the major catastrophe that was Battlefront 2 loot boxes. Players were angered by the fact that the game itself retailed for $60, but it seemed as if purchasing loot boxes were necessary to be good at the game and to get every item. Hopefully EA has learned its lesson and this could mean Battlefield is going to go back to its previous style of loot boxes, where all the earnings are completely cosmetic and do nothing to affect the game....

Responding to a fan on Twitter, Infinity Ward art director Joel Emslie made the claim that the next Call of Duty game is going to be “extraordinary.” Of course, Emslie was unable to provide any details about what will make the next Call of Duty game extraordinary compared to other titles in the franchise, but he did say that “Projects like this are why I love my job.” It’s clear that Emslie is confident in Infinity Ward’s next Call of Duty game, but since we know basically nothing about it beyond the fact that it’s in development, it’s hard to say at this point if fans should get excited....

Neymar completed a stunning €222million move to PSG after the Ligue 1 club activated the Brazil star’s buyout clause in August. Reports in Brazil have claimed that Neymar is prepared to accept a contract offer from PSG, as the capital club intend to activate a €222million release clause in his Camp Nou contract. Barca claimed to be “200 per cent” certain that Neymar would remain in Spain, but it has been suggested that the striker wishes to be the outright star in a team - a status he is denied as part of the ‘MSN’ front line at Barca alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez....

The Paris Saint-Germain superstar struggled for form during Russia 2018 after recovering from a foot injury that kept him out of the end of the domestic season. Neymar was also criticised for diving and exaggerating contact from defenders at the World Cup, where Brazil lost to Belgium in the quarter-finals. But former Real Madrid coach Luxemburgo feels Neymar has taken the criticism on board and backed the 26-year-old to shine at Qatar 2022....
